This house is located with a confined site on the outskirts of the town of Ennistymon, has a south facing garden. The house itself is design so that circulation areas are kept on the northern elevation and all of the other rooms enjoy a southern aspect. All living spaces have a floor to ceiling height window which looks out on to the south-facing garden. The orientation of the site, surrounding houses and the access road, caused significant site constraints, this called for an unconventional site arrangement for the new house. and the concept was to create a house surrounded by trees on all sides, with a private walled garden space.
